We take a great deal of pride in our surgical skills at NuVet. As well as one of the first veterinary surgeries to offer keyhole surgery, we also offer advanced dental surgery and have specialist veterinary surgeons who regularly visit the practice.
In addition, our vet Rachael is studying towards her Certificate in Veterinary Surgery and is happy to perform several advanced procedures. Our Vet Helen holds a certificate in ophthalmology and performs the majority of our eye surgery.
As well as the skill of our veterinary surgeons, we also have advanced equipment to keep your pet safe during their anaesthetic. This includes:
- Pulse oximetry – to measure blood oxygen levels
- Capnography – to measure carbon dioxide in your pet’s breath
- Electrocardiograph – to monitor your pet’s heart beat
- Blood pressure analysis – to monitor your pet’s blood pressure
